Show HN: Krashout, multiplayer car soccer in the browser Hey HN, I built this after looking for an easy to pick up game with a deceptively high skill ceiling - something we could play at remote friendly end of work drinks. I ended up with something in between TagPro and Rocket League. I was particularly interested in making it playable on poor and patchy connections, so spent a bunch of time on prediction, especially around player-to-player collisions. Each game runs in its own Cloudflare Durable Object near the players in an attempt to minimize average room latency. There’s ranked (using Glicko-2), casual (bots fill empty seats), private games you can share with a link, and some basic stat tracking.
